GUIDELINES FOR DELIVERING MEDIA

Optimate Networks goal is to provide a simple, and exceptional, viewing experience. All of our videos are streamed by our industry leading partner, Limelight for smooth, uninterrupted viewing. Our video player can adjust to a larger size and can go full screen. Users that choose to connect to their computer to a flat screen television will have the ultimate viewing experience.
As a content provider partnered with Optimate Networks, we want you to know, video quality of your content is very important to us. We adjust the video bitrate at a minimum of 2Mbps. We routinely encode to the H.264 codec of the new Flash Player 9, to give the best possible resolution. We also will accept RSS and XML feeds from content providers if that is the most efficient form of delivery. However, we would prefer to have original tape, DVD, or uncompressed files. Digital files can be uploaded to our SFTP. (See instructions below).

All media deliveries should include the following information:
• Series Title (less than 30 characters)
• Episode Title (if necessary, less than 30 characters)
• Episode Number (if necessary)
• Description (less than 50 words)
• Metadata Tags (if possible, less than 15 tags)
• Duration
• Special Notes (multiple episodes, subtitles, multiple languages, etc.)
• Contact Information
• Poster Frame Location (by time)
